These picies are just ones I have lying around, but I'm not much of a collector of photos, so hopefully there will be more contributions soon.
Here is our Mark Preddy fending off Luton Tigers' Simon Davison, who now plays for Bere Forest. This is yours truly taking a sprint against Luton Tiger's Alex Watson in Liverpool.
Here's Dave Brown doing his internationally renowned impression as a puff fish, while also trying to make an advert of the kit he's designed. Also featured is a cheeky Ginny Coles trying to sneak into the picture while getting a sniff of Dave's arm pit at the same time.
By the way, these pictures are a few scans of photos from one of the papers up North. They were taken as part of a publicity campaign just prior to the 1st European Championships (1993), which also proceeded the 1st World Championships (1994) in Sheffield's' Ponds Forge Centre. The publicity is never as good as one hopes, but at least the pictures were exciting enough to produce some interest from the local public.
Here again is Ginny, this time surfacing after a hand role with the ball. I thought she could have at least smiled for the camera.
This time Dave's got it right. The RV's, DBC's, and the boat. Still, I'm surprised, considering how long Dave insisted we sit there, that he didn't remember to face the camera for the writing on his helmet.

By the way, I made my own face guard !

Some colour now...

This guy (I've forgotten his name), playing for the Austrian 'A' team, who also happened to be the organiser of the event looks a little unsettled. That's because he knows his Austrian version of the Lower Brace wont keep his hair dry from a Clyde special, the old Cross Hand Tackle.

These three photos were taken in Austria, where a near complete Meridian side took possession of two large pots for first place and highest goal scorer. The Town is called Ybbs and is not to far from Viena. Unfortunatly, we will be unable to return to defend out title, mainly due to the time needed to make the trip, since my self and Curly are going to the worlds and in his case trying to earn as much money for the trip, and in my case, trying to show the boss some good faith by being at work and not swaning off to some distant place for more polo.

My girlfriend Allison, took these pictures, which is how I managed to be in all of them. Despite her efforts to take a photo of our youngest team member Ian Preddy for a school project of his, I still managed to be in the right place at the right time.
